Stray Kids x Charlie Puth collab stirs controversy among fans

Stray Kids are set to drop a new bop titled “Lose My Breath,” hitting streaming platforms on May 10th. However, this beat comes with a chunk of drama, as it features Charlie Puth. While some fans are all about the upcoming track, others seem to be gearing up for a boycott.

Why the boycott, you ask? It looks like Charlie Puth has been involved in controversies, with accusations labeling him a Zionist and sexual abuse apologist. His old social media activity, including likes and shares of pro-Israel content, has added fuel to the fire—especially thanks to his agreements with sentiments expressed by pro-Israel celebrities like Dwayne Johnson and Ben Platt.

In addition, his Facebook footprint shows he could’ve been (or is) a Donald Trump supporter, who has been accused of sexual abuse multiple times and has even been found guilty. He also was a supporter of Dr.Luke, a music producer who allegedly sexually abused singer Kesha.

While some Stray Kids fans plan to stream the song (Charlie’s paycheck is already cashed), others feel sad about the feature. Whether this track will soar or sink remains to be seen, but one thing’s clear: it’s the talk of the town.
