As reported by the Kensington Palace office on April 16th, Prince William is returning to his royal duties following the announcement of Kate Middleton‘s cancer, as the future king was taking care of his children while his wife underwent cancer treatment.
William will start on April 18th and already has a precise schedule of what he will be doing that day, beginning his morning in Sunbury-on-Thames, to check first-hand on the Surplus organization that delivers, sorts, and repackages unused food for community groups.
Later in the day, Prince William would be visiting a youth center in West London, which distributes surplus food to the most needy people they receive on a regular basis, so that nothing goes to waste, as is the future king’s wish.

In this way, he is not simply resuming his royal duties; he will also be contributing to the cause that has interested him the most: to build a world free of waste. This affinity for preserving the environment and reusing to avoid polluting the planet was also shared by the current monarch, who confessed it during his coronation.
