Love has reigned once again in the royal family after Prince William renounced his rights as heir to stay with his wife, Kate Middleton, who is currently in a delicate health situation since she is under preventive treatment against cancer.

Next October will be the ‘Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting‘ summit, where the future King William was expected to attend; however, he has decided not to attend and accompany his wife during her cancer treatment, as it is a difficult process for his family.

A source revealed to Express UK: “Attending the CHOGM is not something William can take on at this time due to Kate’s health, and although Anne and other working royals are doing a great job stepping in to plug the gaps at home, they are not viewed as high-level enough to represent the sovereign as leader of the Commonwealth“.

In this situation, King Charles III, who is also undergoing cancer treatment, was proud of his heir’s position to stay with his wife and has decided to go to the summit himself, showing his empathy with the Duke and Duchess of Wales, despite the fact that in his state of health it is not appropriate to travel.
