LE SSERAFIM recently made their debut festival performance at Coachella 2024 this past Saturday. The girls brought their signature choreography with dazzling and coordinated moves to the stage, performing with high energy and a sprinkle of sass and sexy. But boom! Unexpectedly, after ending their show, group members Chaewon, Kazuha, Eunchae, Yunjin, and Sakura started receiving insane backlash due to their singing.

Yes, you read that right! Once videos of LE SSERAFIM’s Coachella set started moving across social media platforms, a good chunk of the online audience had a lot of things to say and they weren’t good! Some of these users pointed out the girl group’s shaky vocals and off-pitch singing throughout their performance, sparking debate on LE SSERAFIM’s vocal preparation for the show.

Despite the group’s hard work and rehearsals for the Coachella, as noted by the members in Vogue Magazine, online audiences came for their singing ability. They said LE SSERAFIM was not ready to perform at Coachella and even expressed they needed to keep taking vocal lessons. Others were more negative and said the group members can’t really sing and are just dancers.

What are your thoughts on LE SSERAFIM’s performance?
