BTS’ Suga and j-hope shine brighter than ever in the United States during their military hiatus

BTS became the blueprint of the Kpop scene because of their undeniable achievements, not only in South Korea but worldwide. The success of the modern Kpop is largely attributed to the boys although they are currently enlisted in the South Korean military. This time, Suga and j-hope are the trending topics in America.

Suga and j-hope’s presence in the United States became evident with a concert film and an OTT documentary series respectively. Suga’s solo concert, “Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ The Movie” impressively ranked second at the U.S. box office, while j-hope’s “Hope on the Street” became critically acclaimed.

Suga’s tour movie debuted just behind the blockbuster, “Godzilla vs. Kong: New Empire” despite a limited release in 783 theaters. The movie grossed over $960,000, proving that BTS fans are always ready to support the boys’ musical projects. On the other hand, j-hope’s documentary debuted with a score of 9.5 out of 10 on IMDb, making it one of the most critically acclaimed shows this year.

Although both members are currently enlisted in the military, this wasn’t an obstacle for them to shine in the United States. This only represents a portion of the huge support that the boys have received over the years since they dabbed into the American market with full-English anthems.
