On April 9th, a fansign was held in Japan where Stray Kids, in collaboration with SLBS, were present to have a good time with their loyal fans, who were happy until an auction of clothes worn by the boy group members started, causing outrage.
The sale of the clothes was carried out by the SLBS company once the idols left the store, but even though Stray Kids is an ambassador of the brand, they were never authorized to auction their clothing, which caused more rejection among the STAYs.
The situation escalated so much and went so viral that JYP Entertainment began to receive complaints for having conducted the auction; however, they had no idea what had happened but made it very clear that it was not part of their plan and that SLBS had no authorization to carry out such activity.
Subsequently, SLBS issued a statement in which they accepted the blame for what they did and were responsible for returning the money they had collected from the sale of products used by Stray Kids. In this situation, fans agree that the group could not continue to be linked to the cell phone cover brand.
