“Aang: The Last Airbender” animated movie already has a voice lead character

After the imminent success of the live-action for Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix, the franchise is ready to keep expanding the series. This time, it was reported a new animated movie is going to be premiered next year, and they had already cast their perfect voice leader character.

Finally, the cast for “Aang: The Last Airbender” has been revealed. Among the surprises of the news, Dave Bautista and the Korean-American artist, Eric Nam, will be voicing the lead characters. Eric Nam will lend his voice to the adult version of Aang.

Dionne Quaan, Jessica Matten, and Roman Zaragoza have joined the cast recently. The fans of “Avatar” received received the news happily. The fans also reacted they were glad because finally, the Avatar franchise is receiving the recognition it deserves.

Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon studios announced the upcoming film project is the first part of 3 standalone “Avatar” animated movies. William Mata and Lauren Montgomery are the directors of this new installment. They previously worked behind the original animated series, the movie is scheduled to premiere on October 10, 2025.
