Prince Philip made fun of Meghan Markle with a grotesque nickname

The Royal Family has been under the spotlight of British media outlets because of the several accusations made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over the years. The late Prince Philip starred in one of the most uncomfortable moments during the tense relationship with Meghan Markle, which was the last nail in the coffin for Meghan.

Since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, Philip always believed she would not be good for the Royal Family. Several royal experts even suggested the Prince had a brutal nickname for the Duchess of Sussex.

Royal expert, Ingrid Seward shared to her followers that Prince Philip compared Meghan Markle with Wallis Simpson. Simpson was an American socialite and wife of former king Edward VIII, which led to Edward’s abdication to the throne.

Ultimately, Prince Philip used to call Meghan Markle the Duchess of Windsor secretly, or DoW as an abbreviation of the nickname. Although he never used the name directly, this might be one of the major reasons why Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and stayed away from the mistreats of the Royal Family.
