Beyoncé has done it again. The American artist presented the world the second installment of her trilogy, titled “COWBOY CARTER.” The 27-album track became a trending topic over the last week because of the country sound in the album. Ultimately, it was enough for Beyoncé to debut at the top of Billboard 200.
On April 7, Billboard was pleased to announce the top 10 of the Billboard 200. “COWBOY CARTER” debuted in the No. 1 spot with 407k first-week units. This marks Beyoncé’s 8th consecutive No.1 Album on the chart and extends her record of being the only female artist to debut all of their albums at No. 1 on the chart.
The American artist also broke several records in the Billboard charts. She became the first black woman in history to earn No.1 on the Top Country Albums chart and also debuted at the top of the American/Folk Albums charts.
Undoubtedly, after 27 years into her career, Beyoncé is still the perfect example of resilience and hard work. The rest of the charts are set to be announced on April 8 to know how many songs from “COWBOY CARTER” entered the Billboard Hot 100.
