Since their debut, NewJeans has delivered quality content and thousands of glimpses of its artistry. This time, the girls are back with an enigmatic sneak peek at their new song, “Bubble Gum,” sponsored by a Japanese Shampoo brand. The fans, better known as Bunnies, couldn’t been more thrilled.
Previously it was reported that the famous girl band would make their grand comeback on May 24 with a double single consisting of the title track “How Sweet” and B-side, “Bubble Gum.” However, exciting news was waiting for Bunnies, as it was revealed that “Bubble Gum” would be pre-released as a Japanese Shampoo commercial song in April.
On April 8 at midnight KST, NewJeans and the Japanese company, Kao, released 30-second and 60-second commercials featuring the brand-new song. There’s no way it was a witty way of promoting the upcoming release of the girls.
