After the modification of a law, everything seems to indicate that King Charles III would have snubbed Princess Eugenie with an important royal move, depriving her of a position that naturally corresponded to her; however, it seems that she was not even considered to occupy that royal position.
When Charles III became king, the position he occupied as state counselor would pass to his youngest son, Harry; however, when he resigned from his royal duties, the position would be occupied by the daughter of the Duke of York, Princess Beatrice; but after failing to fulfill her commitments full-time, the position would go to her sister Eugenie.
However, it seems that the king did not give her a chance to consider the position since he managed to modify the law by adding an appendix, so this position was finally occupied by Princess Anne and Prince Edward, passing over the young Eugenie.
On the other hand, historian Marlene Koenig said to GB News that the reason the king passed over Princess Eugenie would be because she, like her father and sister, was not interested in royal responsibilities, as she wanted to keep her life a little more private and free of social commitments.
