Grant Harrold, former butler of the current monarch, revealed what could be the alleged plans of King Charles III and Queen Camilla for their 19th wedding anniversary, as he evidently knows the royal couple very well since he was their butler from 2004 to 2011, enough to understand their plans.
The King and Queen were married on April 9th, 2005, so evidently Harrold was present, as the wedding was during his years of service. Recalling this, the butler mentioned, “I can’t believe it’s 19 years this year. I was there that day, in the church“, no doubt an unforgettable day for the world.
The date would be very simple, as he revealed: “They don’t have parties or anything like that at all. Maybe for 20 years, they will. But it’s normally marked privately between the two of them“, and he added, “I’m sure there’ll be a card and then a gift, very similar to the way that other people celebrate it“.
With the delicate state of health of King Charles III, the protocols are clear and simple; the monarch must be in a place of peace, so Grant Harrold explains, “With the king’s treatment he might not have any other people there, so it is likely to be private between the two of them“, making the appointment even more romantic and emotional.
