The Royal Family is providing, for the first time, access to the secret corridors of Balmoral Castle and Buckingham Palace. That’s right! These historic places are no longer just for royal eyes, as tourists will be able to visit them through “exclusive tours.” This initiative opens up previously unseen royal quarters, giving a more intimate look into noble life!
Balmoral Castle, which was Queen Elizabeth II‘s beloved Highland sanctuary, reveals its inner sanctum. On the tour, visitors will get to walk the same halls and corridors that generations of royals stepped in. Similarly, Buckingham Palace extends its tour to include the East Wing, so that tourists get to see the balcony where royals wave to the public in major events.
But these wonders are never for free, the all-access pass comes with a royal price tag. Here’s how it works: The Balmoral Castle charges visitors 100 pounds, while Buckingham Palace asks for an additional 75 pounds along with the standard ticket.
Mark your calendar for July and August (if you can), as these are the golden months for the royal tours. In case you didn’t know, demand has been impressive, with Balmoral Castle’s tickets selling out in just a day after its release!
