Buckingham Palace has been one of the most intriguing palaces to ever exist. The British Monarchy has always brought the attention of thousands of royal followers through the decades, for the very first time, the Royal Family has acceded to open the Palace’s east wing for tourism.
The unexpected decision comes as part of King Charles III’s commitment to opening royal homes, including Buckingham Palace to profit from it. The guided tour includes the famous State Rooms as part of the fascinating 45-minute package.
The Royal Followers are allowed to see the Royal Collection, the Centre Room, the famous balcony first stood on by Queen Victoria. On top of that, the tourists are also being offered a tour of the royal rooms at the home where Queen Elizabeth II died in a historic first.
This is the first time the royal followers are allowed to be inside the royal rooms. Buckingham Palace described the tour as an “adult-only experience.” Only 40 tickets will be issued each day and come at the price of around $108 and $162. The tickets are going to be available from July 1 until August 4.
