The royal expert from the British newsletter The Mirror, Tom Quinn, has suggested that the Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have started preparations for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s potential return to the UK. There are two events that could mark Harry and Meghan’s return: the Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary, and a possible meeting with King Charles, who is currently in a bad health state.
Quinn, a royal insider that has been reporting about the British royalty for more than 10 years, claims the future King and Queen, William and Kate, are “nervous” about the Sussexes’ rumored May trip to London. Reportedly, tensions are so high that Kate and William are planning to minimize speculation about the bad blood between both families. Additionally, Kate Middleton’s recently announced cancer diagnosis is yet another factor to add to the tension.
According to Tom Quinn, “they fear difficulties regardless of Harry coming alone or with Meghan. Extensive planning is underway to minimize awkwardness and public scrutiny,” as he told The Mirror.
Apparently, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s strategy involves a public appearance by the brothers to show a good relationship. William and Kate understand that avoiding interaction would reignite the ongoing rumors about a feud between the king’s two sons.
Currently, the relationship between the two marriages remains hidden from the public view. Harry’s recent visit with his father, the king, where he didn’t see his brother William, sparked public debate about the relationships between the members of the royal family.
