Andy Cohen regrets spreading rumors about Kate Middleton before her cancer announcement

Last Monday, during the broadcast of his show on SiriusXM, host Andy Cohen publicly regretted having spread rumors about Kate Middleton before her cancer announcement. “I just want to say, I am heartbroken by the news about Princess Kate“, said the “Watch What Happens Live” host.

He also added, “I think someone on Sky News called me a ‘numpty’ during that whole conversation and they were right“. These statements come after Princess Kate appeared in a video where she confirmed she has cancer and is starting chemotherapy treatments.

Andy Cohen was one of those who pushed conspiracy theories about the princess and her absence from royal duties after the abdominal surgery performed last January. The presenter assured during his episode ‘Daddy Diaries Podcast’ the following: “It all seems to come back to this lady Rose who he’s had an affair — who he allegedly had an affair with“.

Cohen’s theory was that Prince William had had an affair with Lady Rose Hanbury, thus hurting Princess Kate, who had decided to stay out of the public eye in the face of such humiliation. But seeing that his theory was untrue, he claimed that he would have preferred to keep his “mouth shut” and added, “We are all praying for Princess Kate and King Charles“.
