Every year, the British royal family makes a great event for the end of Easter week to which all members attend to celebrate together, but Meghan Markle never attended the Windsor Easter mass. Discover the reason behind her absences.
Although the former actress’s relationship with the royal family did not end well at the point that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned their royal titles, they used to be an important part of royal events, but even during these times, she never attended the Easter mass.
After Harry and Meghan got engaged, the couple decided not to attend what would be their first Easter mass as a couple in 2018, alleging they were busy with their wedding preparations. The next year, the Duchess was pregnant with her first baby and did not attend to continue her rest.
For his part, Prince Harry attended on his own in 2019, which would be the last opportunity for the royal couple to attend the event as the next year it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later, in February 2021, the couple resigned their royal titles and moved to the United States, where they currently live.
