The renowned media ‘World Music Awards‘ (WMA) shared on its social networks that the artist has become the first Korean act to surpass 1 billion streams on the music service this year so far, giving him the title of Spotify Icon.
The Golden Maknae hit solo songs ‘Seven‘ and ‘Left and Right‘ achieved important records as they exceeded 900 million streams, making the idol the Asian solo artist with the most streams, exceeding 400 million on the charts of the music service.

Jungkook proved his Global Popularity by surpassing 700M streams on Spotify, becoming the Fastest Korean Singer to do so.

But they were not the only successful themes, as four of his solo songs also managed to get high numbers, such as ‘3D‘, ‘Standing Next to You‘, ‘Dreamers‘, and ‘Euphoria‘. This took Jungkook to have 5.2 billion streams on his personal Spotify account.
All these historical achievements, including his solo album ‘Golden‘ reaching a staggering 3 billion streams, led the singer to be crowned Spotify Global Music Icon despite being currently in the military service, as his popularity is still in force.
