Kate Middleton has been a trending topic worldwide since January of this year when the Crown confirmed that she had undergone a surgical intervention in her abdominal area, and remained out of the public sight for weeks, which fueled theories online about her whereabouts, some of them theorized that she may have died and the crown didn’t want to confirm the news, that she had divorced, that the surgery had multiple complications, among many others. But now, Kate Herself has released a video explaining the situation to disperse all the theories by confirming she has been diagnosed with cancer.
In the video, which was posted to the Prince and Princess of Wales x (Twitter) account, Kate Middleton thanks the people for the ongoing support she has received for the last few months, and briefly mentions how this has been an incredibly hard time for her family.
She continues by explaining that the surgery had been successful, and that there was no sign of cancer initially, but after further examination, a cancerous disease was diagnosed. She confirmed that she will be having chemotherapy treatment and that she wanted and still wants to manage the situation privately.
Kate Middleton affirms in a very positive statement that she is fine and is focusing on the healing process, and that she is eager to come back to her duties as soon as possible. Below you’ll find the video of her Majesty announcing the news.
