The British people were moved by the significant words of advice that King Charles III gave to his young heir, Prince George, after his first day of school back in 2017, proving what a good monarch and grandfather he is.
The old video resurfaced, drawing attention for showing the current King talking about his eldest grandson, when a reporter asked him, “Your grandson had his first day at school today; did you give him any advice?” to which the monarch joked, “Of course not! He wouldn’t take it from me, I don’t think at that age“.
However, King Charles III continued saying, “I shall be interested to hear how he got on“, and shared some wise words: “At that age you don’t worry quite so much about going to school as you do when you get a bit older. It’s all business of meeting new people and wondering, you know“.
When the monarch was told that Prince George seemed anxious while getting ready for school, he looked worried but said, “it’s being left there to have to get on with it when the parents go away that’s always the problem. It’s good for you in the end I suppose. It’s character building“.
