The royal family is involved in a new controversy after Getty Images said that a photo of Queen Elizabeth II was altered, aggravating the credibility crisis that the monarchy is currently going through due to their naive acts that have failed to convince society.
This image of the late Queen Elizabeth II was published last year, in 2023, in commemoration of the 97th birthday of the late monarch. In the picture, you can see all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren with their grandmother, creating a nice and historic moment. However, a spokesman for Getty Images says it is not genuine.

This statement comes after seeing the photograph in detail and noticing inconsistencies such as a line where the British monarch’s skirt does not match, a black patch behind Prince Louis‘ ear, and another behind the collar of Prince George‘s shirt.
This would not be the first time it happens, as previously many theories were created about Princess Kate Midelton and her absence after her abdominal surgery, so an image of the Princess of Wales with her children was published; however, it was discovered that the image was digitally altered, causing great chaos.
