A few hours ago, on March 19th, it was confirmed the pop singer was officially divorced, but fans were surprised to discover Ariana Grande would pay her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, $1.25 million in spousal support.
It was revealed that the former couple’s settlement agreement took effect this Tuesday after six months. The artist filed for divorce on September 18th. Due to their previous agreements, they had no legal disputes to deal with.
According to their agreement, Ariana Grande will make Dalton Gomez a payment of $1,250,000 for half of the proceeds of the sale of their Los Angeles house; besides that, she will pay $25,000 for the real estate agent’s attorneys’ fees.

The two started their romantic relationship in 2020; they got engaged and married in a small ceremony in the singer’s Montecito house in 2021. Until the singer asked for divorce in 2023, officially ending their marriage in March 2024.
