BTS’ fans, better known as ARMY, were more than amused after finding out almost every member of the group has been releasing new musical projects despite being enlisted in the military. Joy filled the room after V released his new music video, “FRI(END)S,” and subsequently topped the iTunes Charts around the world.
Taehyung has proven his influence several times and “FRI(END)S” is the living proof of it. The solo digital single shot to the top of iTunes worldwide almost immediately upon its release. According to V’s music agency, BigHit Music, the song reached the No. 1 iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 87 different regions on March 16.
The idol already experienced solo success with his critically acclaimed album, “Layover” and he is ready to experience it again. In addition, the music video has already soared to new heights as he already surpassed the 9.5 million milestone on YouTube.
There’s no doubt BTS’ V’s music speaks for itself, although the idol cannot promote it directly, the song’s performance is doing more than fantastic.
