In the last few weeks, netizens have created many theories to explain the long pause the Princess of Wales has taken from public duties, apart from her recovery after a medical procedure. Many have speculated that she passed away, disappeared, or divorced Prince William.

However, according to recent statements from the Prince of Wales’ spokesperson to People, the rumors seem to go too far, as he said William’s “focus is on his work and not on social media“, assuring he has no time for these controversies.

For his part, Kesington Palace has shared a few statements affirming Kate Middleton is well recovering and that she will be back after Easter, but they will not be updating unless something changes in her health.
