The last two days Kate Middleton’s filled every British media outlet’s headlines after her Mother’s Day was a complete “fiasco.” The press left aside this coverage to focus on Prince William’s attendance at Thomas Kingston’s funeral, making him return to the public scene to fulfill his royal duties.
On March 12, The so-called “face” of the royal family attended the funeral of the late husband of his relative, Lady Gabriella. The attendees gathered in a private service at the Chapel Royal in St. James’ Palace in London, where the financier was laid to rest.
It wasn’t a surprise neither King Charles III nor Queen Camilla Parker didn’t attend the private service after it was reported the King was going to step out from public-facing meetings, while Camilla was fulfilling other royal duties.
Prince William hasn’t addressed Kate Middleton’s controversy regarding the Mother’s Day photograph. However, the Prince of Wales has made sure throughout the days, that he is not going to reveal any update on Kate’s status, making the silence dominate the scene for another day.
