A few moments ago, it was revealed that Meghan Markle won a defamation lawsuit brought against her by her half-sister, Samantha, leaving the former actress free of legal problems with American law.
On March 12th, it was confirmed that the lawsuit brought by Samantha, the daughter of the Duchess of Sussex’s father, was dismissed, so it could not be presented again since, according to the judge, the plaintiff failed to present compelling evidence.
As previously predicted, Samantha Markle’s case against Meghan Markle has been dismissed with prejudice, meaning that Samantha can’t refile. She can try to appeal, but it will also be unsuccessful as the court here gave Sam many chances.

In the lawsuit, Samantha Markle sought $75,000 in damages due to the alleged 14 defamatory statements against her in the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Netflix documentary series ‘Harry & Meghan’ and their interview with Oprah Winfrey, where the actress said she is an only daughter.
In a new statement, Meghan’s lawyer, Michael Kump, said that they were “pleased with the Court’s ruling dismissing the case“. Meanwhile, Samantha’s lawyer said he “will be appealing this decision to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals“.
