In recent days, Stray Kids fans have shown their disappointment as a famous brand withdraws the members merchandise for ‘political reasons’, making all STRAYs react negatively as they were expecting this new project.
It is about the self-photo service Photoism, which is well-known among the K-Pop community as they have had collaborations with many artists in this industry, and recent updates announced that they would release a new one with another South Koran act on March 6th.
Eventually, it was revealed that this new project would be along with Stray Kids, announcing two days in which it would be available. However, this excitement did not last long, as days later it was deleted from its Instagram account, and then they shared an official statement on the matter.
The announcement said, “Regarding the photo frame collaboration with Stray Kids, due to political reasons, we are currently working hard to coordinate with their agency“, receiving many criticisms from fans.
Some of the fans highlighted that other JYP Entertainment had no problems with their collaborations: “What do you mean political issues?“, “Why didn’t you post after confirming everything first!“, “How come there aren’t any political issues with ITZY and NMIXX, then?“.
