Netflix is compromised to deliver its users the best quality shows ever. This time around, the streaming giant didn’t disappoint with the anticipated trailer of “Parasyte: The Grey,” along with a poster and the premiere date.
The plot revolves around Su, played by Jeon So Nee, a woman who is forced to coexist with a parasite, and the relentless Team Grey. This special team is in charge of fighting against unidentified parasitic life forms.
This new show is based on the original comic “Parasyte” by Hitoshi Iwaaki, which was critically acclaimed because of the imaginative storyline of a parasite permeating through a human brain and controlling its body. With a couple of adaptations, the show seems to be a scary story pulled straight from a nightmare.
The poster is a Su In’s close-up, which is half human and half a parasite form. There’s no doubt, this adaptation is promising something as great as the original comic. Netflix is working hard to bring great productions to keep itself at the top of the streaming services. “Parasyte: The Grey” is set to premiere on April 5. You can watch the trailer below:
