This work, directed by George Miller, is the fifth in the series of the post-apocalyptic world, which began in 1979 with Mad Max, the Road Warrior. The release of Mad Max: Road Rage in 2016 marked the rebirth of the franchise. Starring Anya Taylor-Joy in the “Mad Max: Fury Road” prequel has revealed new photos with Chris Hemsworth, the plot’s villain.
The synopsis has now been shared by Warner Bros. and the reactions have been quite nice:
“As the world fell, young Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy) is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a large Biker Horde led by Warlord Dementus. Navigating the Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. As the two Tyrants fight for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she gathers the means to find her way home.”
In the images, Chris Hemsworth can be seen riding a chopper bike designed by himself, while the desolate Mad Max desert is in the background. In addition, the director said that this new story takes place in the same universe as “Mad MAX: Road Rage,” but 15 years earlier, just as the ones of the movie and the iconic truck. We are so excited for Anya Taylor-Joy.
“In Fury Road, the story takes place over three days and two nights. This film follows the story that is directly in Fury Road, over 15 years,” “It’s a different animal…It has many different locations. It’s an odyssey. There’s no question,” he reveals.
The film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”, which has a budget of 230 million dollars, will be released in Australia on May 23, 2024 and in the United States on May 24, 2024. The release date in Spain has not yet been confirmed. Warner Bros. Pictures is the distributor and George Miller is the director.
