A former royal staff member explains Kensington Palace’s silence on Kate Middleton’s health

Numerous rumors and conspiracies regarding Kate Middleton‘s health status have surrounded the princess and the royal family. The public began speculating about it as Kensington Palace refused to provide any updates on the situation, which exacerbated the rumors.

Since January 17, after the Princess of Wales underwent a major abdominal surgery, and subsequently a long recovery at home, the palace hasn’t disclosed any information yet. The concern quickly escalated after Prince William pulled off an important royal event due to “personal reasons,” which fueled the controversy.

A former royal staff member addressed the controversy by explaining no member of the royal family is going to succumb to pressure to disclose details about Kate’s current situation.

“The newspapers are always telling the family how to run their press operations. If William has read any of this stuff, it will only make him more determined to stick to his guns and keep his wife out of the limelight while she recovers. The stuff people are writing is toxic.”

The mere reason why the members of the royal family remain silent is that they don’t like to comply with British media outlets. The press doesn’t genuinely care about Kate Middleton’s health, they are just eagerly waiting for clout.
