Prince William must break royal rules to gain the support of Gen Z

In recent revelations, it was reported that Prince William must break royal rules to gain the support of Gen Z, according to a new poll that proves young adults follow those leaders who have their voice and publicly fight for good causes.

All this comes from the recent statements of the current King Charles III‘s son over his “deep concern about the terrible human cost of the conflict in the Middle East” and stating that he “wants to see an end to the fighting as soon as possible“.

A survey conducted by YouGov on February 21st of 7,965 British adults found that 45 percent of young people, between 18 and 24, responded that they “do not know” whether it was appropriate for Prince William to comment on the issue in the Middle East.

Newsweek’s chief royal correspondent, Jack Royston, said that this great response from Gen Z “highlights the huge challenge William faces if he wants to get young people back on side“, because this would bring him trouble with the British conservatives.

Royston added that “it’s not just that young people want public figures to stand up for what’s right. It’s that you have to kind of shout it from the rooftops (…) Today’s young people are used to celebrities who pick a stance and then advocate it with their whole heart and soul“.
