Royalty is important in many parts of the world and the great monarchs have been present for as long as we can remember, making blood the most important thing and for some reason, worthy of praise, to such a degree, that even statues are made in representation of public figures and of course even the little princess of Spain would already have hers.
The princess of Spain, Princess Leonor has received a statue in her honor, and it must be remembered that the young monarch has already turned 18 years old and her instructions of monarchy have been much bigger than what she used to have, as she is preparing to be presented as an adult to society, and that means new responsibilities of the crown.
Rodolfo Navarro, a painter, sculptor and writer from Valencia, who a year ago made a bust of Felipe VI, was commissioned to make a sculpture of Princess Leonor in clay. In Valencia, the exhibition of portraits of the Royal Family will present the sculpture in April, specifically from 9 to 26. People can see the creation of this work in the sculptor’s social networks, such as his TikTok and YouTube account. Rodolfo explains step by step and professional techniques to achieve amazing results in an open and transparent way, from the drawing and creation of the portrait to the beginning of the clay modeling.
It is not the first time we see that great public figures receive a statue in their honor, an example we can see is Shakira, who recently unveiled a huge statue in Colombia, in honor of the singer. What do you think about it? Would you like to have your own statue? What do you think of the statue of Princess Leonor?
