Prince William has started one of the most important royal duties of this month, as he was welcomed on Wrexham. The Prince visited Wales to mark the start of the St. David’s Day celebrations along with the Welsh community with numerous activities throughout his day.
The Prince of Wales kicked off his day with the AFC co-chairman, Rob McElhenney, along with some of the members of the soccer league. Undeniably, this was a radiant morning for the heir to the British throne. Subsequently, the prince visited the Ysgol Yr Holl Saint/All Saint’s School to see how the students celebrated the local Welsh history and cultural traditions.
Prince William was surprised after he was given three red dragons for Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte, and flowers for Kate Middleton, who is currently recovering from a planned abdominal surgery.
“The children will love these when I come home with these guys.”
The last responsibility of his day was to meet Rubdy McBurney, the daughter of one of the victims of the Gresord disaster. The emotional moment made almost everyone cry, but Prince William’s positivity filled the room with joy, proving once again he has anything it takes to become the next monarch of the United Kingdom.
