LE SSERAFIM earns their first win with “EASY” on “Show Champion”

South Korean music programs have garnered a greater audience outside of South Korea because of the huge increase in interest in the Kpop scene. The shows are usually hosted by popular idols who present new acts, comebacks, and the most awaited moment of the night: the winner of the award for the night. This time, LE SSERAFIM were the chosen ones.

LE SSERAFIM had a great year in 2023 with their smash song, “Perfect Night.” The girls had another trick up their sleeve with their comeback, “EASY,” which became popular among the K-Netizens. However, this week’s competition was tougher than ever, after numerous acts made their respective debuts and comebacks in the Kpop scene.

On February 28, a new episode of “Show Champion” was broadcast, where MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, TRI.BE, A.C.E, P1Harmony, CREZL, The Wind, M.O.N.T, BXB, X:IN, n.SSign, DXMON, and YDS performed to gear up for the night. During the last couple of minutes, the hosts presented the candidates for the night of this weekly competition.

LE SSERAFIM’s “EASY,” TWICE’s “ONE SPARK,” MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul’s “TOUCHIN&MOVIN, BIBI’s “Bam Yang Gang,” and IU’s “Holssi,” were the nominated to his prestigious recognition. A couple of seconds later, LE SSERAFIM took the trophy home, marking their first win with their comeback song. You can watch the winner’s announcement below:
