King Charles III skips Church service for a fellow king

King Charles III has undoubtedly become the talk of the town in the United Kingdom due to his cancer diagnosis unrelated to his elongated prostate. Despite Buckingham Palace having tried to keep the king’s diagnosis short and formal, British media outlets are eagerly waiting for any update, fortunately, the king himself made another headline.

King Charles was pictured in London on February 27, waving his hand to the royal followers who had supported him during this period while he was driven from his home, Clarence House. This is the king’s first public appearance since the tragic news of Thomas Kingston’s death on February 25.

The royal family reunited before Buckingham Palace’s announcement. However, they all gathered without King Charles III for a Thanksgiving Service in Windsor Castle for the late King Constantine of Greece on February 27. It was also noticed that Prince William and Kate Middleton were absent after William pulled out last minute due to a personal matter.

“The King and The Queen have been informed of Thomas’s death and join Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all those who knew him in grieving a much-loved member of the family. In particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and all the Kingston family.”

Although King Charles III missed the memorial service for King Constantine, he decided to pay tribute to the king by wearing a tie featuring Greek flags. The king is trying to make minimal public appearances while he is undergoing treatment for his cancer.
