A few hours ago, the NYPD confirmed Harry and Meghan were in real danger during their car chase in the United States, despite the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were previously mocked for the lack of evidence over the ‘near catatrophic‘ experience they had.
Although Prince Harry was denied automatic police protection in the United Kingdom, he had won the war regarding their previous car chase in Manhattan, which was mocked by many netizens around the world as neither the driver of the couple’s vehicle was aware of the danger.
However, recently, the NYPD has been sitting on enough evidence to charge two of their pursuers over the chase, as their behavior towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was “reckless” and “persistently dangerous“.
“The individuals operated vehicles, scooters, and bicycles in a manner that forced the security team (…) to take evasive actions on several occasions“, was revealed about the car chase that took place in May 2023.
In addition, the NYPD’s Chief of Intelligence discussed “certain changes to the security posture that will be afforded to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex” following the dangerous incident.
