On Tuesday morning, police in Australia launched an investigation against Taylor Swift‘s father, Scott, as he was accused of attacking a paparazzi named Ben McDonald, who quickly moved to file a lawsuit after the altercation, claiming to be the victim.
These events seem to have been recorded by the camera that McDonald had with him, so he made sure to take it as evidence for his complaint; however, it is not possible to appreciate that Scott had any physical contact with the paparazzi since a member of Taylor’s security used an umbrella to block the camera.

Everything seems to indicate that Ben McDonald wanted to take pictures of Taylor Swift, who apparently was also in the scene; however, he used an umbrella to cover her face, so it is not known exactly if it was the pop singer who was with Scott.
In the video captured by the paparazzi, it can be seen that a man, who is assumed to be in charge of security, obstructed the view so that no photographs were taken, escorting the singer and her father to the car. Then a discussion is heard, and it seems that there was a small fight, but it is not very clear, so investigations by officials are still ongoing.
