For many years, one of the most recognized names of one of the most beautiful actresses we could see in Hollywood is Scarlett Johansson, who gave life to one of the most beloved superheroes of the Marvel universe, Black Widow, and for many years we saw her play this role so conical that it became part of our annual tradition of going to see a great superhero movie, and now this actress has become highly recognized to the extent that she has decided to do acting aside apparently to devote herself to directing.
The cast of Scarlett Johansson’s directing debut, “Eleanor the Great,” is being assembled. “Eleanor the Great,” which marks the first collaboration between TriStar Pictures and Sony Pictures Classics, will be shown in theaters on an unspecified date. Along with Jonathan Lia, These Pictures’ Keenan Flynn, Pinky Promise’s Kara Durrett and Jessamine Burgum, and Maven Screen Media’s Celine Rattray and Trudie Styler, Johansson is producing the movie. The project also stars Jessica Hecht, Erin Kellyman, Oscar candidate June Squibb, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and June Squibb in the title role of Eleanor Morgenstein.
The official synopsis of Eleanor the Great reads:
“the story follows a 90-year-old woman trying to rebuild her life after the death of her best friend. As a result, she moves back to New York City after living in Florida for decades.”
Johansson is presently working on her other acting and producing projects, including two movies scheduled for release in 2024. Don’t worry, though; she is incredibly skilled and will continue to perform while directing! She is just getting ready for her feature directorial debut! What do you think about it? Are you excited to see Scarlett Johansson as a film director instead of an actress?
