During the recordings of the Oscar’s nominated movie ‘Oppenheimer‘, Cillian Murphy had to ‘glue’ his head because of a pillow gift from Emily Blunt, which went from a tender act of caring to an accident and a funny anecdote.
In recent days, the cast of Christopher Nolan’s most recent movie reunited for an interview on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, where the actress revealed she decided to gift the star actor a Hästens pillow because he needed a good sleep for his work on the set.

Then, Emily Blunt asked Cillian Murphy for his permission to tell the story behind the pillow, and he accepted: “He was really luxuriating in this pillow one night, and he woke up in the middle of the night (…), flipped it (the pillow), and smashed his head open on the bedside table“.
The lead actor was clearly hurt as the actress said, “He came to work, and they had to glue his head shut!“. The actor in his defense said, “I was a bit shocked, you know! I was having a great sleep, and I had this amazing pillow, strange bed, strange table, and bang“.
