BTS’ Jungkook had one of the greatest years in the Kpop scene with his album debut, “GOLDEN,” after spawning three smash songs, the idol was consecrated as one of the blueprints inside the music industry. Jungkook was greatly received worldwide, and his latest feat is the living proof of it.
On February 27, KST, The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) was glad to announce the annual report for 2023. Despite the Kpop scene having increased significantly over the years, just one song made it to the top 10 of the 2023 biggest songs worldwide, and all the flowers went to Jungkook’s “Seven (Featuring Latto).”
“Seven” was released on July 2023, and instantly became the song of the summer in several countries, including the United States. There was no doubt that Jungkook’s name popped on almost every trend and his song speaks for itself. “Seven” was named the 10th biggest single globally of the year, solidifying the idol’s career internationally.
