In the midst of the hard times the British monarchy is going through, there has been criticism of Prince Harry‘s decision that could have harmed King Charles III after his cancer diagnosis, which was announced in the first days of February.
After the worrying news was shared, the King’s younger son traveled to the United Kingdom to be by his father’s side. However, this visit was faster than expected, as it only lasted 30 minutes, which made experts think this was a ‘publicity stunt‘.
In addition, according to royal expert Ingrid Seward, “the stress of Prince Harry’s impulsive behavior cannot have helped the King’s health“. She said that despite the fact that the monarch loves his son, it is not good for him not to know what is going to be his next move.
She also said that “to a man of his vintage—he is 76 this year—the idea of someone flying 11 hours across the Atlantic to see him for less than an hour is madness“. Though she praises his intention to see his father, she states that this quick meeting did not do any good for them.
