IU has proved to everyone a good rollout can make a song viral and completely addictive, just like her title song, “Love Wins All.” The K-Netizens have strongly shown their support towards IU’s new material, and the South Korean music programs are just the living proof of it.
On February 25, a new episode of SBS’ “Inkigayo” was broadcast, as usual, there were several incredible performers to gear up for the night, LE SSERAFIM, TWS, GOT7’s Yugyeom, NCT’s Ten, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, TRI.BE, P1Harmony, A.C.E, VANNER, BXB, The Wind, DXMON, n.SSign, and AIMERS, among others, were on the lineup.
The hosts announced the candidates for first place were around the corner, IU’s “Love Wins All,” (G)I-DLE’s “Super Lady,” and TWS’ “Plot Twist” were nominated for it. Although the three songs are widely popular in South Korea, “Love Wins All” took the award home with 7,692 points.
IU now has earned the title of “Triple Crown” with “Love Wins All” after winning three times with the same song on “Inkigayo.” This amazing feat has been shared with BTS’ Jungkook and other idols, which makes it incredible. You can watch this week’s winner announcement below:
