BTS’ Jungkook had one of the best years of his rising career last year after he released three smash songs and a phenomenal debut album. Although the idol enlisted in the South Korean military in December 2023, he has managed to keep appearing in Spotify’s Top Global Albums without any further promotion.
The Golden Maknae has garnered a larger audience because of his impeccable work with his latest album, “GOLDEN.” The album showcased all of Jungkook’s sides, from his most personal to the most reckless ones. Spotify’s charts are just the living proof of how well-received was Jungkook’s album.
On February 24, Spotify unveiled its reports regarding its Weekly Top Album Global chart, where Jungkook’s “GOLDEN” landed at #13. Despite new releases by big names in the music industry, “GOLDEN” stayed stable in streaming numbers, adding another week to his record and 16 consecutive weeks to his bag.
BTS’ Jungkook proved he became a global icon after he dabbled into the American chart with his first full English album. “Seven (Feat. Latto), “3D (Feat. Jack Harlow)” and “Standing Next to You” ranked at #25, #121, and “45” respectively on the Weekly Top Song Global chart. Undoubtedly, Jungkook is one of the idols to look up to when it comes to global success.
