Prince William has been dealing to find a balance between his private life and his royal duties, as he became the face of the royal family while other members recover from their medical procedures. This time, the delay in the construction of a High School is out of his hands, but he is the one to blame according to the British people.
The Prince of Wales’ County Public Schools Superintendent, LaTanya McDade, unveiled the school system’s proposed budget for fiscal 2025, including the high school’s delay. The school is now expected to be pushed back two additional years, opening around 2029-2030 due to the changing demographic trends in Northern Virginia.
LaTanya McDade also explained they have delayed the project because of the decrease in students in this specific area. However, local parents speak out against the delay in explaining this is not the reality they are living right now, and statistics are far from being the day-to-day lives of thousands of concerned parents and their children.
Ultimately, the British people and the parents from Northern Virginia showed their outrage and discontent towards Prince William’s decisions. The Prince is facing a wide backlash because he is not focused on taking care of the real matters nowadays, including thousands of children who are waiting for this high school.
