A few hours ago, it was revealed that the renowned K-Pop act BLACKPINK is now the most streamed female group on Spotify in 2024, so far, which consolidates the great influence of the girl group around the world.

The important music platform recently revealed that the four-member group reached a great amount of 347M streams on Spotify in the first two months of 2024, surpassing in this way the girl group NEWJEANS, who currently have 346M streams.

The most surprising thing is that BLACKPINK has achieved this great number with no more than their legacy and old hits due to the fact that they have not released a new song since October 2022, and their most recent project was their tour ‘BORN PINK‘.

If Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé‘s great achievements in daily streams persist until the end of the year, BLACKPINK could obtain their sixth consecutive year recognition as the most streamed girl group of the year on Spotify.
