One of the most beloved series in all cinematic history, is undoubtedly Game Of Thrones, and is that for many seasons we got into the fantastic world, full of dragons and epic battles that became part of our Sunday tradition. Once the series came to an end, many more came trying to reach the great impact that Game Of Thrones had, but unfortunately none has managed to reach that level of specialty, managing to gather many people every weekend, waiting anxiously for a new episode, but now many professional people have said that there is a series quite similar to Game Of Thrones, but with a samurai theme that gives a very interesting twist to the story.
This new series is the second limited TV adaptation of the book; the first one, in 1980, starred Richard Chamberlain, Toshiro Mifune, and Yoko Shimada and was a global hit. The first two episodes of Shōgun, which will debut in the US on Tuesday, February 27 at midnight on Hulu, will air consecutively. The linear TV network FX will also air both episodes on February 27 at 10 p.m. ET. From that point on, the final eight episodes will be released every week at the same time on both platforms. In the US, FX may also be accessed with a Blue tier subscription on the streaming service Sling TV.
