The world of superheroes is one of the most profitable businesses if there is no doubt that not only the movies are a success nor the comics. So are video games and all the merchandise that is for sale. Once a new product is launched to the extent that we even have theme parks of these iconic characters, but what happens when people stop consuming because of the quality they are offering this has been a big problem and the DC studio realized it by doing a reboot from the root to change the whole structure of what they have and the expectations that they have of this new universe are very high.
“After the table read with the ‘Superman’ cast,” Gunn wrote. “Eve, Mr. Terrific, Superman/Clark, Otis, Lex, producer Peter Safran, Jimmy, Metamorpho, Lois, Hawkgirl, me, Guy, The Engineer all together for the first time! What a wonderful day.”
This is the first time fans have really seen Hoult, the legendary villain of Superman, as he has a shaven head. Along with a number of other well-known celebrities, the picture also features Rachel Brosnahan, David Corenswet, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced. Superman Legacy is anticipated to begin production in April and end in August, in one form or another. The current scheduled release date is July 11, 2025.
Superman Legacy is the first feature title in the new Gunn and Peter Safran-run DC Universe, and he said:
“It’s not an origins story, it focuses on Superman’s balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He’s the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, he’s kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old fashioned,”
