One of the biggest stars we know is Zendaya, and is that from a young age she became a superstar in the Disney Chanel channel to follow her career by acting, as she proved that she is not only a good dancer. She is also a great actress and singer. Now the singer, Zendaya will be more than ready to star in a new movie just after the great success she is having with the second part of Dune, where she shares credits with actor Timothée Chalamet.
Betting on Zendaya in the role of Tashi Duncan, a former tennis star turned coach, there is a film called Challengers. This film is directed by Oscar and BAFTA nominee Guadagnino. It is based on a screenplay by Justin Kuritzkes. Produced by Amy Pascal, Guadagnino, Zendaya and Rachel O’Connor, the film has Bernard Bellew as executive producer. Golden Globe winner Zendaya (Dune) hosts Rivals alongside Golden Globe winner, SAG Award winner and BAFTA nominee Josh O’Connor (Normal People), as well as BAFTA nominee Mike Faist (West Side Story).

Set in the competitive world of professional tennis, where player-turned-coach Tashi (Zendaya) has transformed her husband Art (Faist) into a Grand Slam champion. After a losing streak, Tashi enters him in a “Challenger” event – the lowest level of professional tournaments – where he must face Patrick (O’Connor), Tashi’s former boyfriend and one-time best friend.
