The recent publication of the 2023 rank of the biggest artists by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry demonstrated that SEVENTEEN was the best-selling KPOP act of 2023 worldwide, surpassing BTS and other renowned groups.
On February 21st, the IFPI revealed the rank for the Global Artist Chart for 2023, where they take into account physical sales, downloads, and streaming during the past year and in which the K-Pop industry demonstrated its great impact worldwide.
SEVENTEEN occupied the second place of the prestigious chart, being the one in the genre, surpassing in this way K-Pop acts that previously were the most important in the Korean industry, such as BTS and BLACKPINK, who don’t even appear in the top 10.
