After the British people collectively believed Prince William wouldn’t make a public appearance at the 2024 BAFTA Awards, he proved everyone wrong. The Prince attended last minute and on his own because of Kate Midlleton’s health status, and he hasn’t shared any further news regarding her recovery.

The Prince of Wales became the sensation of the night, he even admitted he hadn’t watched the groundbreaking Box Office, “Barbie.” Although he showed up in really good spirits. Kate Middleton’s absence was completely noticed by everyone, and he couldn’t contain his thoughts anymore.

Prince William also apologized on Kate Middleton’s behalf because she couldn’t attend the 2024 BAFTA Awards after she underwent a planned abdominal surgery. The Prince explained to the award’s organizers that he was really sorry because her wife couldn’t join them tonight.

“I am sorry Catherine’s not here, she does love the BAFTAs.”

Prince William also promised to “catch up” on the films he couldn’t watch because of his royal duties and taking care of Kate Middleton at the same time. After a successful night, Prince William congratulated the winners of the night before leaving the event to resume his family activities.
